Our history

1963

José Luis Artal Artal founded Mecanizados Artal in a small workshop on Eras Street in Zaragoza.

The company began by manufacturing custom-made metal parts and components, focusing on artisanal quality and technical reliability.

1974

The workshop moved to an industrial building located in the La Unión Industrial Estate on the Castellón Road, where it currently remains.

1986

The first numerical control machine is acquired, a Lealde CNC lathe.

2015

The company redesigned the plant layout, which included structural modifications to the buildings and a new layout for the machinery with the aim of optimising workflows and productivity.

2024

Our founder, José Luis Artal, concludes his tenure as company administrator, passing leadership on to the next generation. His legacy, vision, and values continue to guide every decision made by the company.

2026

Mecanizados Artal renews its corporate identity with an evolution that seeks to project the modernisation of the company, its commitment to the future and visually communicate the technical excellence that defines it.
